Opening Doors for Persons with disAbilities in Employment

ODF Online Job database aims to enhance employment opportunities and career progress for people with disabilities classified under four broad categories of disabilities - sensory disabilities (hearing and visual impairment), intellectual disabilities (with IQ of 70 and below), physical disabilities (e.g. amputee, polio) and other developmental disorders (e.g. Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder).

Jobs-ODF shall hence provide job assistance services to any jobseeker who falls strictly under any of the abovementioned categories of disabilities.

Jobs-ODF is intended to assist people with disabilities to enhance their employment opportunities, and is not for profit.

Important Information / Tips for Jobseekers

Some tips on how to handle a job interview

Learn about the organization by doing some research before the interview. One way is to visit the company’s Website or call the company to find out more.
 
Tip: Practice interviewing with a friend or relative.

Do dress appropriately, as the first impression counts. Avoid jeans (For gentlemen) and low cut (for ladies).

Always be on time for an interview, preferable 15 minutes before the scheduled time of your interview. This will give you amble time to relax and fill out an application, if necessary.

During the interview, smile, be polite and greet the interviewers with a firm handshake.
